LIMITED LATE MODEL - Weight Limited: 2400 lbs
CHASSIS:Automotive frames permitted.
Jig frame with or without automotive snout permitted.
Frames may be interchanged.
Wheelbase 14" minimum with 1" tolerance.
SUSPENSION:
Any type allowed.
STEERING/SPINDLES:
Rack and pinion permitted.
Any type spindle permitted.
BRAKES:
Any four wheel disc brake permitted.
Dual master cylinder permitted.
WHEELS:
Steel or aluminum only.
14" maximum width.
Bead locks permitted.
FIREWALL:
Must have approved firewall and floor plan.
Tunnel permitted.
BODY:
Aluminum or steel only.
ASA, flat side bodies, Hav-A-Tampa, and/or All-Pro bodies permitted.
No wings.
Spoiler must be 8" in height and 48" in width with ½" tolerance not to exceed width of quarter panels.
ENGINE PLACEMENT:
Engine and driveline must not be more than 2" from the centerline of the frame rails. (2" maximum offset of engine and driveline).
#1 spark plug of Chevrolet must not be more than 6" to the center of top ball joint.
#1 spark plug of Ford 302 and 351 must not be more than 8" to the rear of the top ball joint.
½" tolerance on the above items noted.
ENGINE:
362 cubic inch maximum.
Cast iron blocks only.
Flat top pistons only.
The dome may be removed from Pop-up type pistons to make flat top pistons.
.060" overbore permitted.
High performance camshafts permitted, rollers not permitted.
No oversized or mushroom lifters permitted.
302 Ford may stroke to meet 362 cubic inch (3.48 stroke).
Chevrolet (3.48) stroke.
Any wet type oil pan permitted. (No dry sump oil systems permitted).
Lifter valley may be polished.

High performance valves springs and retainers permitted.
Needle bearing rocker arms permitted.

Bottom A-frame must be stock - no shortening or lengthening allowed.
Top A-frame must be tubular, but only be adjustable at the mounting plates to frame.
Any GM or Ford spindle permitted, wide 5 hubs permitted.
Front spring pockets must be in original location.
No lift bars of any type, 5th coils, or birdcages allowed.
Coil over eliminators permitted.

Must have complete stock firewall and stock floor pans to rear of driver seat on both sides of car, must also have stock transmission and drive shaft tunnel.
Doors must be welded, strapped or bolted.
Fenders may be cut for tire clearance.
Must run stock bolt pattern on car (front and rear end).
